Skill trainer dialogue not appearing? (probable bug)

I've encountered a problem that, far as I can find, no one else has experienced.

When I open dialogue with any skill trainer NPC, the dialogue to ask that NPC for training doesn't appear. This happens regardless of which skill it is, my level in each skill, or whether the trainer is capable of training me or not.

I'm hoping to get some wisdom on this. Any help?

If you have a higher skill level than that trainer can train then the dialogue no longer appears. That is normal.

If you go into game and give a specific example .. with which trainer and which skill and tell us what level you have that skill.

That can also happen if you have given yourself skill levels .. as it can bork your game.

In any case over 90 no training is possible except for master level special quests.
