The Hidden - an assassin group based in Elsweyr who have perfected the Invisibility Magic
Disgraced - Former nobles who have been exiled of their rank, with the riches they have, they can afford bandit squads.
The Vermin - A group of bandit mages that can summon poisonous skeevers and have more then average Magicka.
Not only adding in entire new gangs and squads into the game, it also overhauls their A.I. and Data sets.

SKSE - Get the .exe version from their official site, the Steam version is a bit janky.
Mod Organizer - Better than Nexus Mod Manager!
SkyUI - Needed for most mods that have any configuration options for their settings. Just generally nice too.
JContainers - Just a mod that's used a lot, best to have it rather than not.
NetImmerseOverride - Same thing, just used a lot by different kinds of mods.
FNIS - Needed for any animation mods or mods that include animations.

i'll add to iNeed ( which does a very good job :) ) that it has a "toggle widget" feature in MCM
from experience i should say to not asign any key to that
either have it on your screen or don't
it drops frames from 60 to 9 every time you toggle it to "off" and then gives back the frames if you toggle it back to "on"....
EVERY SINGLE TIME without flaw
i assume that this has something to do with running in cooperation of ihud
so if you have ihud... stay away from that mcm feature :p
( no idea what other then scriptissues with ihud could be causing it.... perfeclty fine otherwise :) )

there are some more "attack oriented" ones as well, polymorphy is mostly a "form" mod
does have an automated vanilla friendly attack animation for most creatures though
