Question about the "Retaking Thirsk" quest & Bujold The Unworthy
If you let her husband know that she did not get Hrothmund's blessing and he exiles her from Thirsk Hall, does she despawn forever when she leaves Thirsk Hall? Or can you randomly come across her in the wild afterwards? After she was exiled I waited a few hours and then tried teleporting myself to her, but I was teleported inside Thirsk Hall, right at the doorway. As if she's still there.

According to UESP, telling Bujold's husband that she didn't get the blessing despawns her from the game, even if you lied to him about the blessing earlier. So apparently, if you do that, she's gone for good.

Thanks. I thought I had read through the UESP page for her (and the questline) but I guess not. I suppose I understand why they did that but that makes you think that she left Solstheim entirely or she just straight up died out there after getting exiled. Kind of sad, but mainly it sucks that we don't get to randomly see her out in the wild. It would have been interesting to see how she reacted to you. Maybe she'd attack you immediately, maybe she'd just have a chat with you, or maybe you'd at least find her corpse and that would start a new quest entirely. But no, that's too much for Bethesda apparently.
