is there ANYTHING underwater?
so one of the main aspects of the argonian race is that they get passive water breathing. that sounds cool, who WOULDNT want to breathe underwater?

but...is there any special treasures or dungeons in the game that are underwater? the underwater aspect doesnt seem to be that big...why invest ANY time underwater or make water breathing potions?

Theres a shipwreck in Lake Ilinata (that gigantic lake near Riverwood.)
There is a fleet of sunken ships in the sea, I forget exactly where.
There are several caves that have underwater bits.
And several dungeons with bits that are filled with water.

But nothing to the degree of Oblivion, where you even fought a HUGE slaughterfish.

There are numerous shipwrecks throughout Skyrim. Mostly in the sea. Pilgrim Trench near Ysgramor's Tomb is the biggest and deepest. Not a tremendous amount of treasure though, anywhere.

The real perk of being an Argonian is being a lizard.

I am think the term for that is scalie or something, which is like a subcategory of a furry.
Unfortunately, loot under da sea is just as bland and boring as the loot outside of da sea. What happened to cool stuff in TES? Did it disappear along with calipers?

They have it because they've always had it, that's it. Yeah, its not too useful in Skyrim, and frankly it wasn't very useful in Oblivion either. It makes searching ship wrecks easier, but that's about it. And besides, there's no underwater combat in this game, so you have no way to defend yourself while you're swimming, which is really stupid. At least in Oblivion there was this one helm at the bottom of the ocean you could find which was pretty good (for a low level character anyway). And on top of all this, if you have frostfall installed you're obviously not going for a swim very often. The only times I do it is if I'm forced to just to reach some stupid little island.
