which is unfortunately where all the modders are finally moving to
(never mind the fact there are people like me that can run regular but not SE)
Ofcoz they want people to buy the new stuff.. not the good old stuff people can mod and run. lol
well screw it, not gonna buy it again, even did read a review of a dude that unistalled his game and then wanted to reinstall it, but all he's dlc was gone.
can bethesda do something right? :P
It's not entirely Bethesda's decision. The bigwigs at Zenimax also have a say in this, as Bethesda is a Zenimax subsidiary. Sure, SOME of the blame is Bethesda's, but a large part of it belongs to the Zenimax leadership.
The regular Oldrim is still available here on Steam if you just click the 'Store Page' at the upper right of this forum page.
Hit up Google to find the DLCs. They are sold on many websites as well as here on Steam. Look at the stickies for more information.
Elder Scrolls Legendary Edition on Amazon for $20, just take your money elsewhere and hit them where it hurts, in their pocket.
I probably wouldn't have moved over if my saves didn't corrupt all the time. It was maddening.
Others are from Humble Bundle.
And no doubt they're also in talks with steam to find a way to force people to update their game whether they like it or not, just to put a permanent end to fan-made mods.
This is why monopolies are bad, because if you have a monopoly they WILL abuse their power. We have no alternatives to go to and they know it. We play their game or we simply don't have a fantasy game that we can make our own. Its really sickening and its why I'll never buy another bethesda product. Really, none of us should be doing so. Look, the game is dead one way or another, and we can't do anything about it. We should just stop feeding bethesda, if they don't see the light then they'll cave as a company. It would serve them right.
Glad I have the original.
