Help for Septimus Signus Quest

In the beggining, Wretched Abyss wouldn't let me pass.I passed with a command.After collecting all the blood, I came and got the book.

There,Wretched Abyss was supposed to talk to me but didn't speak.
I can get out of there by command, but I want to talk to him.

As others have already said, if your save had the DLCs in it, and you are now trying to play on that same game without the DLCs, you cannot. Your game is now broken, even if you are able to continue some play.

Your ONLY OPTIONS - AND THERE ARE NO OTHERS - are to start a new game or reinstall ALL DLCs and go back to the last save that had all of them installed. Those are your ONLY options, regardless of what you may wish or what anyone else may tell you. It may not be to your liking, but there is no other way.

if you cant talk to a character you got to have missed something , in some quests certain characters wont trigger a conversation unless you tell them you found a certain something , and the knock on effect is for example if character x does not follow you and you have not shown her a certain book she will not respond to you so the story line get broken.

this is a classic case of knowing what to do is not enough , if the AI does not pick up on certain things the game stops , example .. in an old game escape from monkey island you need to get a brass hat , unless a person actually tells you where to dig the game wont let you find it.

You got it all wrong.The task returned an error when you transferred save from the DLC version of the game to the normal version .No lack of any item

I reloaded the DLC and the problem was solved.The problem is they're too expensive.I think you can work something out.People experiencing the problem should not delete the registration files.This way, the bugs removed.If he's still at the door after the conversation, they can leave with the "tcl" command.This is not cheating.

The registration file is all mine.There are also only graphics modes available.My old record file contained DLC.It was most likely the problem.I had to reload the DLC for the solution.Do you think the one at the door will be a problem?The end of the task was writing
