Installed the scoped bows mod, but uh the longbow is missing something very important.

Lol don't know what the issue is, I re-installed in in NMM, then re-installed it again manually so the textures are definitely in my files. Not sure what the deal is rip

Did you try forging the scope at a forge? If not, it could be that another mod that adds weapon textures could be overwriting scoped bows.

There's no scope to forge. Plus it doesn't say that you need a scope for the bows on the mod page.

It's not a replacer, it doesnt put scopes on the vanilla bows.
You have to craft them manually, only if you have the necessary smithing perk for the bow you want.

if you type "help scoped" into the console, you'll find them and see that they have their own name

You need the steel smithing perk I believe for the scope. Only unique one-of-a-kind weapons like Zephyr and Auriel's Bow already have the scope and don't require smithing.

Well that'll explain it. I wish this was explained on the actual mod page lol

Accordingly to your level scoped bows will randomly appear in the world of skyrim (on npc's, in shop vendor menus or in containers), but you can also craft them yourself if you have the required smithing perks and the corresponding vanilla base bow. Unique bows are already scoped when you find them.
