Can't interact with follower

I use EFF.
I gave him a nickname.
Now his name is simply nothing
So I can't do a damn with him.

Ok he is one vanilla follower. He should work fine as I know whit EFF.

I did.

It's purely EFF's problem. Nothing included. its feature was rigged.

You have only 1 of 3 files from the highres texture pack.
This is the only one I can find.
HighResTexturePack01.esp=1


Your load order is not correct.
You have plugins that must loads early and some that should load late at wrong places.
Several of them affects dialog.

You need to download LOOT and let it sort, and you should consider to verify your files.

Have you at any point continued your game and it have warned you that you are missing content?


It should look something like this.

First, how the texture pack overhaul confilcts with the feature that alters certain actor's name?
That's like saying "The earthquake is going on, so we have to stop it by using The Lusty Argonian Maid book."

Second, this nickname disaster was also happened before I install the official HD texture pack. So it proves me again, this anomaly has nothing to do with texture pack, because it happened before regardless of the texture packs' existence.

Third, as far as I know, I don't have to activate ALL the texture packs. That's why the texture packs got seperated. I only activated 01 version because it HDed the whole clothes.

Forth, I run LOOT before you even mentioned it here. 'That' was the load order sorted by LOOT. I told you I sorted my load order. Have you been reading all the stuff?

And lastly, can you please give me reason why I should believe your load order will make a stop to this 'name disaster'?

I don't see why all of those mods are complicting with changing actor's name.

To me, you're saying "Oh, your mom is sick? Don't worry. Use tomahawk missile and she'll be fien" without any reason of why I should do it.

Why the load order should be the problems of certain mod's original feature that alters certain actors' name?

It's not like I have other mod that does the similar thing.

I did se that you have sorted your load. But it is simply wrong, where did you fail to read that.

LOOT dont do all stuff correct.
And LOOT should have given you several of errors.

Why load order can make strange stuff in the game, is all about what they have added in the plugin, that is why it is important to have correct order.

Several of your mods DO change the dialog menu. Did you fail to read that to?

I mean, literally pin-point out. Cause I can't find where it is.

You said vertify my files. Now that's a completly different type of behavior.

And this is not about dialouge menu for god sake it's the issues with the certain actor's name, not the dialouge.

I ran into this same issue with my dark brotherhood initiate last night and was going nuts trying to fix it.

I basically deleted her with markfordelete in console commands then spawned another beside me with player.placeatme. It cleared the nickname and I can interact with her no issues now but I literally just fixed it so I will update if it bugs out again.

Side note I had to force recruit her in EFF then dismiss her from the eff command wheel to make her act normal again.
