Nexus Mod Manager not showing any mods, only plugins for Skyrim
Hello, can anyone tell me what's wrong with my NMM? I have problems with my Skyrim. I have noticed that some mods stopped working eventhough everything in plugin is checked. I have noticed just some hair missing for now, other than that I have about 76 mods actually active in game. However my NMM doesn't show any mods, only plugins. What to do? X_X I haven't modded Skyrim in more than a year and I am clueless what wen't wrong

Are your mods in the right folder? Should be in OS (C:) (or wherever Nexus is set to store mods)/Games/Nexus Mod Manager/Skyrim/Mods

Actually... which version of NMM are you using? I think about a year ago, NMM updated to a new beta version which added in some new features, but required you to redo your mods. There's a big disclaimer like :

"Please read if you are upgrading from NMM version 0.56.1 or lower: this is a MAJOR update of the Nexus Mod Manager that will uninstall all your mods and then attempt to reinstall all your mods in the current order. Please read the site news for more information before proceeding."

Basically... NMM had a MAJOR overhaul, possibly around the time you were inactive.

That's exactly what happened :/ It ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up after update (whose notes I didn't read because I am lazy butt X_X' ) so basically I have to redownload all mods? Or can I just roll for older version? Because getting all ENB mods will take me possibly hours..

Well that might be a problem. They were... after I updated the nexus they were still there most likely but now it's empty. I did OS reinstall and backed up only skyrim folder with activated mods, which are working but are not in nexus. That makes sense...so what are my options? Can I just look for the mods online and download them again to make them visible? Isn't there a way for nexus to recognize that I have 76 activated mods? Somehow. Sorry I am just silly potato that doesn't back up properly obviously x'D

I don't think you're totally screwed, I don't recall exactly, but I think they said you should deactivate all your mods, then do the rescan games, and then go back and reactivate your mods slowly. Its just the new version does a messy job of reactivating them after the update. I have like... 2,059 total mods atm....just for Skyrim alone (according to NMM) but there's still a few more not added to NMM.

Having NMM reinstall over 200+ mods after update was messy, because I don't think it activate them in the proper order with overwrites and such, so you have to do it from scratch. Activate the unoffical patch(es), then clean with TESVedit, then slowly add them in, LOOT, etc until you got everything back like before.

The mods you DL'd via NMM still gets stored under the NMM folder someplace, you haven't lost all your old mods.
