Map markers on/off is easy to toggle with mods. Guild faction upgrades would be kind of welcome to next TES. I also liked TG, but other questlines were quite short.
I wish if i could destroy the thieves guild & Maven, but not everything work as you wish.
Best you can do about the Thieves Guild is to just leave them alone, since they're pretty much doing horribly (hiding in a sewer, no influence, no loot, they're a joke) unless the Dragonborn helps them out.
And yeah, while I've done the Dark Brotherhood stuff, I usually find it more satisfying to go in there and nuke the place with a mage or stab them all with my own assassin character.
Sadly there is no decent way to get rid of the pack in Riften.
There are some mod for it.
