Make sure it's installed in the same location as Skyrim, as well.

i dont see it, so i tried to get it from bathisda and it needs the api64 and i dont have it, also for some reason my Skyrim sse installed the 32bit not the 64bit yet i am on win 10 64bit
There is no Skyrim SE that is 32 bit, only oldrim is 32 bit
Have you asked about your issue on the Bethesda forum? It's not the best, but people there should be more helpful. Alternatively, you can ask in the SE forum on Steam.
