[Solved by using Injector] ENB binary wont work with D3D11 only D3D9
Im reading alot about this, but I cant seem to fix it no matter what I do. I tried the renaming stuff and all that, but the game crashes right before the loading finished when using D3D9.

Im on a ASUS ROG G550JK laptop, Nvidia GeForce GTX850M 2GB, i7 @ 3.4ghz and 12GB ram, so hardware shouldnt be any problem.

Have anyone found a updated fix for this?

Regular Skyrim uses directx 9. Only Special Edition uses directx 11.

But why cant I load it when I use D3D9? I also tried with and with out DXGI: Every mod should be in the correct load order too, most of them are tools and animaton packs. (I know I use SexLab, but its fun :p)

The mods and tools is updated to the current version. SKSE is also included. EDIT: The ENB notification only shows up with D3D9.

Are you using an ENB with Sweetfx and is your OS Windows 10? If so, copy d3d11.dll and dxgi.dll from the Windows > System32 folder into the Skyrim folder. You could also try running SKSE through Mod Organizer. I had a similar problem before. I couldn't launch Skyrim with d3d9.dll without running SKSE through MO. I'm not sure why that was.

I'm not sure if your problem is the same as mine ... reguarding getting enboost to work ... but this sort of fixed it for me ...
I'm not happy about having to use the injector version ... but it does work.
If it's not the same problem ... then sorry ... I'm of no help to you ...

If you just want to run ENBoost,
download the enbseries version 308.
download ENBoost6_1 from the link in the guide
copy enbhost.exe from the v0308 wrapper folder to your skyrim game folder
copy ENBInjector.exe, enbinjector.ini, and enbseries.dll from the v0308 injector folder to your skyrim game folder
copy the enblocal.ini from the enboost6-1 folder to your skyrim game folder
set the ExpandSystemMemoryX64 to false
set the memory parameters as outlined in the guide
set the DataSyncMode to 0
set the EnableFPSLimit to true
You will have to run ENBInjector.exe prior to launching your game every time you play. Leave it running, then exit it when you are done. If you cant find it to exit, look in the system tray.

if you want to verify that enboost is working, leave the fps limit false when you test. Your fps will be very high, which we know is not agreeable to the game but its the only way I know to verify enboost is working.

Hopefully this fixes it for you as well, but it might not. During my time searching for fixes I ran into 3-5 posts of people with this issue and every one had a different fix. Hope this works though.

Yes, Im running Windows 10 with the latest updates :)
I tried copying the D3D11 and DXGI into the main Skyrim folder. Also tried to run SKSE from NMM, but no luck. It only starts with D3D11 but then I cant see any ENB notification when the game start. I dont use ENB boost so that not the problem, but thanks for your reply. This is my Skyrim folder setup. Everything is in the default Steam folder.

I corrected the topic title! :)

Maybe you need the injector version of ENB instead of the wrapper version.

Using the Injector fixed it! Thank you so much and thanks to everyone else that tried to help too :)

Quick question:
Where am I supposed to put the SKSE_Loader here?
By replacing or write it in another slot?
