It's called loft - happens irl. Alter your Skyrim.ini to make the whole Archery experience better.

[Combat]
fMagnetismStrafeHeadingMult=0.0
fMagnetismLookingMult=0.0
f1PArrowTiltUpAngle=0.7
f3PArrowTiltUpAngle=0.7
f1PBoltTiltUpAngle=0.7
f3PBoltTiltUpAngle=0.7

[Actor]
bUseNavMeshForMovement=0
fVisibleNavmeshMoveDist=14000.0000

Will this keep gravity? Do I just paste it in the ini?

No - don't just paste it in. ALTER your ini. To wit - add the bits you don't already have and change those you already do have. Crossbows work better close range but still drop off over distance and Longbows still loft but not as much. Also, Longbows will actually " Hit " far away targets provided you've compensated for drop off.

Edit: Needless to say but always keep a back-up of your ini files - both original AND edited.

Ok thanks, one question is it supposed to shoot a little above or should I change it to shoot lower?

It's supposed to. At close range ( appx. 8 to 10 metres - like in a crypt ) aim at the top edge of a sleeping Draugr for example. The ini alterations change where the arrow or bolt originate from and works pretty good and much closer to real life. For once, Bugsoft did a pretty good job :-)

Glad to have helped. If you'd be so good as to add [ Solved ] to the end of your opening title others may also benefit. Laters :-)
