Mod Orginiser question.
I just downloaded a mod, right after installing it in MO, my load order went all over the place: I don't know why but for some reason it changed drastically right after installing the mod. So then I tried to sort them back to where they were, but it said at the bottom middle of MO 'Drag and Drop is only supported when sorting by priority" how can I fix this so I can sort my mods manually again?

EDIT. Why does it say "unmanaged: Dragonborn", "Unmanaged: Dawngaurd" etc for all my texture packs and DLCS? why does it say Unmanaged?

Click "Priority"

Because they're not a mod.

There's a problem....the place where it says "Flags - Content - Catagory" etc isn't there. It just says where everything else should be "Mod name"

I just downloaded MO again and that one has all the right things...if I could find out how to move all my saves, mods, profiles, etc to it then that would work. Or maybe we could just fix this. IDK, just tell me what you think please.

You can however right click the top bar to customized all the priority tags.

Shouldn't reinstall MO, it was an easy fix. Take a screenshot of your current MO.

"You can however right click the top bar to customized all the priority tags."

Yeah, I have done that and selected priority. But it still says "mod name" and doesn't allow me to arrange them.

That's a photo of it.

BTW, I said before this all happened after installing a mod. It was "Purity" a weather overhaul mod. After it messed everything up *I don't know if IT did it* I uninstalled it and the problem stayed.

Ok, there's a "line" where you can click and resize the "Mod Name" bar.

Try to "shrink" it to the left.
Keep an eye on the horizontal scrollbar.

It has nothing to do with a mod or any mod for that matter that changed MO's interface. It has everything to do with miss click or some unintentional error from the user. It happens to me too but I knew it was my fault and not the mods from Nexus.

That was it all along! I had to scroll it so I could see it then enable it.

Hey....Do you mind if I ask you a few more questions? I fixed that problem, but some small things came up after that got fixed and I enabled my mods.

Validate Archive each time you load a mod. You might use the software LOOT, also. It adjusts load order to avoid conflicts. I have been using it for years and am really happy with it.

What exactly the "small things"?

...I fixed it. I had Nexus ID on instead of No Groups. That did something strange with mods being overwritten, it's fixed though. yayie, thanks for all the help, I'll just fiddle around if I have any more problems and fix it myself, I don't like bothering people lol.

How would I go about doing that in MO?

Make a profile in MO (should be the button called default in the top if you haven't changed it) and set automatic archive invalidation to on. That pretty much does the whole process for you every time you launch your game.

And yea make sure you run LOOT to sort your plugins.
