Oghma Infinium not working (NOT TALKING ABOUT THE GLITCH)

When I read the Oghma Infinium I get the choice between the different paths, but when I pick one nothing happens, and when I leave the inventory again it is removed as it normally would. Anyone know a fix?

Edit: I just walked around with it in my inventory, and after a couple of hours I tried again and it worked as a charm ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
