Any mods that give disease immunity to horses?
Its getting a bit annoying when your horse fights a bear and contracts Bone Break Fever reducing your horse's stamina.

And YES horses can contract diseases several times i had to remove Bone Break Fever via console commands from Shadowmere including just now after i saw the characteristic disease glow when she was fighting a Cave bear .. i issued the command removespell 000b877e and BAM got msg "Bone Break Fever successfuly removed from Shadowmere" and her stamina was instantly back from 173 to default 198

Thx for the heads-up. I have played mounted 2-hand and archer character, but this never happened to me. Must have been lucky (or unobservant).

Yea maybe you didn't noticed tho the disease RNG has pretty low overall chance unless you are unlucky like me :P

hahaha, ok, i never tried this but you got me thinking. Save, backup, then via console: Place that 100% disease resist amulet on horse, force equip it, see if horse can wear one! :D

Revert after test in case of console induced bug, let me know answer.

Okay so i tried out your idea ... hmm not sure what to make of this the amulet says - Worn
but sometimes occasionally when i check via "showinventory" its no longer Worn

I tried using equipitem <amuletid> 1 to make it pernament
Seems to be still shown as "Worn"

So i guess it worked? Hmmm gonna have to do further testing.

NPCs will remove items that are not part of their outfit. I solved on my Orchendor thrall but I forget how I associated the item as part of his owned items. They are tagged within the showinventory report.
