where can i get lockpicks

apart from stumbling across them as finds where can i buy them. Or even better is there like a lockpick that doesnt break or anything like that

You can buy lockpicks from general traders and blacksmiths. Find Belethor or the Adrianne in Whiterun.

You can also get to the part of the Thieve's Guild questline where you get the Skeleton Key; it's a lockpick that never breaks.

Yeah, if you just look around bandit camps, there'll most definitely be lockpicks.

I have only run out of lockpicks once, and that was at the beginning and it was so many games back that I can't now remember where it was. Now I just grab so many that my count always shows 99+ and that is easy enough to do as they weigh next to nothing.

Oh and I have never crafted any or cheated to get them.
