How to have multiple profiles, and have a specific mod list on each one?
I need to have more than one profile/character, and when I switch from profile/character to profile/character there will be different mods enabled. What program or anything else can do this?

Everything you need to know, about 4 hours beginning to end if you watch it straight through.

Mod Organizer. Here's everything you'll need:

Mod Organizer: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1334/?

Mod Organizer Installation Tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHgULB431Os

Just when you uninstall mods, don't delete them, just disable them in your desired profile. Deleting a mod in one profile deletes the mod in all profiles.

EDIT: BeardedDork just beat me to it. >:O

A Toilet, I have Mod Organiser. But I'm having A LOT of problems with it *I have to download other mods to get alot of mods and I can't get those mods I need because I have to get SKSE and I can't enable SKSE*

Anyway. I will continue to try to get it working *I'm uninstalling my Steam games and uninstalling MO, then reinstalling both, and starting fresh. I kind of messed up my files lol

A Toilet, I haven't fixed the problem. But I am seeing if I can. So far MO seems to be the only thing that allows for multiple characters and a separate mod list for each.

If you know of anything else that can do that, please tell me.

You said in your previous thread you watch videos about installing MO etc but it seems like you failed to do so.

I have watched many videos, and I know how to do more than just basic things. Create new profiles, customize mods for those profiles, copy the mods and put them into the new profile etc.

If I didn't have the problems I have then I would be perfectly fine. I have the knowledge to run and use MO as I want.

The main problem is this......I got my first mod. Well I attempted to, it said I needed either SkyUI or SKSE to get the mod *it says that for many of the mods I want to get*. So I decided to get SkyUI, but it said I needed SKSE to get it. So I recently tried to get SKSE. But on the last and most important step of installation, "your system (AKA MO) cannot handle this file"

I simply needed to install SKSE to MO just like I would any mod, but It said that.....that ruined everything. I cant even get mods if I cant do that.

So right now....I'm reinstalling Skyrim and MO to see if I can start fresh, and pay a bit more attention to the steps *plus I know ALOT more about MO since then*

Ill tell you how it works out then I try it.

You don't install SKSE with MO. Read the readme on silverlock and try again manually.

Installing SKSE, SkyUi, SkyRe is all covered in that tutorial series I linked above, if that's where you are having problems you can skip to that video it's about 12 minutes IIRC. I really do recommend watching the whole series, except possibly the one about migrating from NMM to MO if you have already done that, which alone accounts for an hour of the total runtime of the series.

Thank you all for the advice. I'll be sure to check out what you two have said.

I may have just found out a solution....The mod "Mainmenu" gives you multiple profiles and character selections within the game. Using NMM, I can have different profiles, with different mods, but I can't have different characters with different mods.

MainMenu fixes that it seems, I can install Mainmenu on two different profiles, select the mods I want in each of those profiles, and because Mainmenu lets me have more than one character, then I can have different characters with customisable mods. Hense, exactly what I need. Wow, that was complicated lol. Anyway, I tested this out....It seems to work just fine.

Thank you two for the help again, I'll be sure to update you about how NMM and MainMenu work together.
