Console command to add a skill to a follower?
Is there a console command out there that adds a skill to a follower? Like, say you wanted Lydia to be an adept at destruction magic. Is there a console command out there that adds a skill to the skills the follower levels up?

Well you can change things like skill levels for a follower (or any NPC), just maybe not skill perks to my knowledge..? (I gotta check this)

In the console all skills are saved as Actor Values so you can change that easily enough.
For example if I wanted someone to gain more from using Light Armor by changing their Light Armor skill,

If I wanted to affect my character I'd type: "player.modav lightarmor xx"
(Where the x stands for whatever you want to change it by)

If I wanted to change an NPC I'd select them and type: "modav lightarmor xx"
This would work for any skill types, though it is worth noting that "Archery" is known as "marksman" in the console and "Speech" is "speechcraft".

Also to the above comment, if you want to change an NPC/followers level you would select them and type: "setlevel 1000 0 1 100"
That would then change the NPC to level from 1-100 with you, the 1000 refers to what percentage they level from you so 1000 (100.0) would mean they are exactly the same level as you.

I've found a quote that might help me. "I've never heard of adding perks to followers, but if it were possible, I would assume you would use the Correct perk code, however, instead of typing "player.addperk", you would simply click on your follower and type "addperk" with the correct code next to it. --— Deyvid Petteys"
if someone could test this, that'd be cool

There are some follower overhaul mods which add this feature, except making it more immersive. From memory, I think UFO does, but I would not recommend using that mod.

Dont use UFO it is outdated and have some issues, the other follower mod can be used.
EFF/IAFT or FLP that can be used whit EFF.
My self uses FLP alone and have all the things he needs.
