Fetch Me That Book! Quest bugged

You need to return a book to Urag gro-Shub and i found the Souls, Black and White book but whenever i go to Urag he just keeps repeating the same phrase. I can't talk to him so i can't complete the quest. Is this a bug or have i forgetten something i need to do before?

What does he say thou, could be that another quest (from the guild) it sputtin him on hold.
like the final show down.

Also double check what the journal sais. do it tell you to speak to him?

"If you find the book before activating the quest, the quest will point you to Urag gro-Shub saying "Return the book to Urag gro-Shub" (if you have installed the unofficial patches) but Urag gro-Shub will not provide new dialogue thus making it impossible to complete the quest.

I know this is an old thread but I just got stuck on this as well.
During a Dawnguard quest you have to go speak to him again to find the Moth Priest. You can return the book at that time as well.

For heaven's sake, reviving a dead thread for that....
The problem is simple, Urag sends you after a Specific book, you can't hand in any copy it has to be the specific copy he sent you for, just get the right copy, which isn't listed as a book but as miscellaneous if I remember, and hand that in.
