U get 50% of the things u used
But my skill is almost 100 so im OK.
Halted Stream Camp east of whiterun, Iron Breaker Mine in Dawnstar, Shors Stone Mine outside Riften (if you have Unofficial Patch, otherwise I think it's an Ebony Mine). Mine Between Winterhold and Windhelm (forget the name). Whatever that place between Hall of the Vigellents and Morthal is called. Mine outside Markar.
Those are just off the top of my head.
some 50 ish bows. requires dwarven smithing.
Once I hit Smithing 80 I switch to Ebony smithing. and do Ebony bows for the rest.
Dwarven smithing levels you really fast though, especially with the ancient knowledge quest perk.
The recycling mod is the most helpful though. You can also melt down kettles, clothing irons, lanterns, embalming tools, etc. Corundium can be salvaged from shovels and pickaxes. This is helpful if you have the Hearthfire DLC and need to make locks. Corundium is rather rare too.
The more expensive item you make, the quicker you will level. Once you get to 100 you can make your smithing legendary and start over, leveling your character higher.
I probably see the problem, i don't have the Unofficial Patch. And I dont know if i want to use this recycling mode, the game seems kinda easy with that mode.
But anyways thanks
