Torygg's Horn Problem
So, the Jarl of Solitude asked me to place her (dead) husband's battle horn thing at the Shrine to Talos, since the new laws prevent her from worshipping him. Problem is, I go to Markarth, go into the Shrine, and try to place it. There's no prompt, no place to put it. I tried activating the shrine and it just gave me the blessing. Tried to drop the horn, I can't drop quest items. Went up to the statue to search for a scripted placing thing, nothing.
Help?!

Wrong Talos statue...
Travel to the Shrine of Talos in the wilderness of Whiterun Hold, due north of The Ritual Stone. Follow the path near Shimmermist Cave, along the northern bank of the river, and you can find the shrine behind some trees.

Usually the first time you go to that shrine you get attacked by the Thalmor as you start to leave.
I don't know if that happens during the horn quest or not, as I have usually already been there earlier in game.

Probably because you do not have the Unofficial Patch installed.

Either that or he had already been in that spot and dealt with the Thalmor back then.

FWIW, I placed the horn just yesterday and did not get attacked. I've killed some Thalmors in the past but don't know if that had anything to do with it. Also I was sneaking (very high level) with companions. Did a 360 scan when I arrived but didn'tt see any red dots in the vicinity.
