Does your game actually freeze or does it just take a long time? It might just take a long time to load in everything, I had 3 different hair mods 2 eye mods and and some eyebrows for female and when switching over(before removing some) it took several min to load up. The game wouldn't respond to any command other than the male looking around when I moved the right stick.
You did validate your files and sort your load order with LOOT right?
If you have mods, from where did you get them, how did you install them, did you sort them?
And dont use the Skyrim Precache killer since it it obsolete and are replaced whit SKSE, since 1 year or so.
switch to female > game freezes for 5 seconds then the arrow moves to female gender > game freezes > CTRL+ALT+DEL > taskbar menu > skyrim( not reponding ) 3.4G of ram useage
nexus mod i dont rely on workshop so much since my 3 favorite modders on the workshop are mostly done with skyrim
Be sure to run FNIS for Users before you start a new game if you need it.
