To Kill an Empire - Making the Potage Glitch/Bug

I don't know if anyone else has encountered this, but this just happened as I was doing a playthrough today. You know that after you give the Writ of Passage to Maro you enter the castle, and proceed to the chef (you're posing as the Gourmet) where you two make the Potage le Magnifique for the emperor (he dies, not really him though :P).

Normally, in the fourth line of dialouge, the chef asks you if there's anything else you need to add before serving and you put in the poison right? Well that line didn't even show up for me. I tried going back through several saves and I'm positive Astrid gave me the poison because it indicates it was added to my inventory however when asked by the chef if I need to add anything more, it only gives me the option to say yes it's ready. I let the scene play out and the emeror and his subjects just eat their meal peacefully, without death!

I know some people have encountered the "Its just..." dialouge glitch, but I've never had this happen before, any suggestions?

Make a backup save and have the dish delivered as they are eating it type into the console;
setstage DB09 50

See if the quest functions normally.

If not go back to the old save and right before you start on the recipe type in this;
setstage DB09 40
