YSOLDA WON'T TAKE THE WEDDING RING FOR NIGHT TO REMEMBER
I've tried all sorts of console commands and I can't get Ysolda to take the wedding ring for the Night To Remember questline. How do I forcibly give her the wedding ring through console commands? People say to use setstage DA14 125 but it doesn't change anything.

What? Can you leave a comment that makes f*cking sense?
Well too late now. I met up with Sanguine and got the Sanguine Rose. It's so dumb how you can break a questline if you don't do it right away. Also the first reply I get makes no f*cking sense.

I think this is what happens if you get Ysolda to tell you about Morvunskar before you find the ring for her in Witchmist Grove.

I've noticed that the following seems to happen:

(a) If you Persuade, Intimidate or simply pay the 2000 gp, she tells you about Morvunskar at once, and after this Moira will not spawn at all, even if you talk to Ysolda and she mentions Witchmist Grove before quitting the conversation. If you go to Witchmist anyway and spawn Moira manually (or "enable" her with console commands, she is apparently considered to be there but invisible and intangible, with no way to detect or interact with her.) then you will get the ring - and acquire the objective "Return the ring to Ysolda" - but she won't take it. It's possible that Witchmist Grove will also be permanently rendered non-"clearable" because of the fact that Moira's considered to be there even though she isn't really there.

(b) If you simply ask about the fiancee first, and Ysolda mentions Witchmist Grove, that will set the flag to enable Moira, so she will be there and non-hostile when you go to Witchmist. BUT if you then Persuade, Intimidate or pay Ysolda before leaving the conversation and going to the Grove, the quest is advanced a stage further, Ysolda tells you about Morvunskar, Moira will have no conversation if you go to Witchmist Grove (so you will have to simply kill her), and you can obtain the ring but not give it back to Ysolda, and all you can do is go and clear Morvunskar to finish the quest.

So, foul-up all round in the order-of-operations in this quest.

This is exactly what I did, but i'm also married to her since before this quest. Which really confused me for a week now, cuz I'm too low level to do morvanskur, but she keeps saying i owe her. I saw a post somewhere that said you could go into console, click ysolda, and equip the wedding ring on her directly, then talk to her to finish that stage of the quest, but it didn't work for me. I'm doomed to forever be in debt to my wife for going on a bender and trying to be a polygamist. :steamdeadpan:

They are saying "if you can go back one save. then erase all saves previously made. then make a new save. then try again" Not everyone speaks english that plays this game. It wasnt hard to decode if you remember that. Bethesda site said that she can break if you intimidate her and she wont take the ring back on some occations.
