To those using The Ultimate Dodge Mod..

To the very few who could get their hands on v4 and v4.1 of UDM such as myself, before all the unfortunate events happened to close the mod for the time being, I could really use some guidance here.

I've messed around with both versions and it seems one version fixes another thing but breaks another. To elaborate:

v4 - Mod works perfectly except it doesn't allow you to use sneak as it completely replaces the sneak key with dodge.

v4.1 - Mod fixed that issue of not being able sneak. It allowed the vanilla sneak button to be used as dodge, and allowed you to bind another key to the sneak key. So you could sneak and use dodge.. BUT the dodges play the animation but do not actually move your player. Essentially you're getting the dodge in place bug.

Now for v4.1 I've done a♥♥♥♥♥♥load of combinations and checked a lot through conflicts. My UDM overwrites anything animation wise. I've even checked the FAQ (From TK Dodge) and online for the dodge in place bug and I've taken every precaution and attempted every fix. The dodge in place issue still persists.

I'm lead to believe that v4.1 is broken and would've been fixed in v4.2 had the mod not been taken down. This is a major blow for me because this literally the last mod I was installing, waiting for the new version being compataible to FNIS. Out of my 230 mods this mod is stopping me from doing my playthrough. I simply cannot play without UDM as it has spoiled me with its amazing responsiveness compared to the script reliant TK Dodge (it's a great mod but UDM is just surperior imo).

Maybe one of you who have played with either version can help me out here, or maybe I'm at a loss and have to wait for a fixed version that might not come out because it got taken down..

It was for both. Apparently the mod author used parts of someone else's mod without permission, and Nexus now has him under review.

For the OP: From what I've read the issue is that UDM isn't compatible with FNIS. Therefore you might as well remove UDM since it's broken and not going to get fixed. Someone on the Reddit I found while looking that mod up suggested TK Dodge ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/20923/? ) as a replacement.

Ok, I did only find for SSE. But google do fail some times.
If one mod is not compatible whit Fnis then it is not anything to use at all.

It was for both. It's not script based which is why it's amazing imo. You dodge and there is no delay..

Funnily enough, this issue still remains. I can dodge but not sneak. This could have been so easily avoided if the author just added a dodge button instead of replacing an already existing function. Great mod if you don't plan on ever sneaking. I mean you literarily can't join the Thieves guild now.
