Need help with World Map!! (Solved)

I recently installed XPMSE, HDT Physics and FNIS in order to use a Armor Mod (Ancient Nord Chainmail and an Animation Mod. After Istalling according to instruction, including running FNIS Gen I started a new game.

The first time i accessed my world map, which is "A Quality World Map - Vivid" by IcePenguine, the image rotated upward looking at the sky and then this is what I get:

Now I have been using this map mod for years and never had a problem and since it happened right after installing the above mentioned mods I figure they have to be the problem. I deleted HDT and XPMSE as well as the armor and animation mod then ran FNIS Gen again as it says to do if you delete any skeleton mods. Then I deleted FNIS as well.

The rest of the mods I have installed I have been using for quite some time with no glitches.

I ran LOOT and recieved no conflict indicators, warnings or errors. Then deleted the old Bash Patch and created a new one, then started a new game. The problem is that my map is still doing the affore mentioned thing. I have Deleted and reinstall it several times with no success.

O my I'm plagued with the same issue. I was messing with enb presets when it happened, I think. Google was not my friend this time, sadly and I have not played SR for over a month being summer is in full swing.
It's funny you mentioned hdt. I was using All in one kitty cat mod but since the file it so large and a pain to reinstall, I opted to use individual mods. I'm wondering if it related. Validating files through Steam did nothing either. I wish you luck, I'm going to have to deal with it soon enough myself again.

XPMSE, HDT Physics and FNIS - none of these should be doing that. Have all three in my game as well as A Quality World Map and Solstheim Map - With Roads (though not the detailed version) and have zero problems. I checked out the files of the 4 different Ancient Nord Chainmail mods that came up on a search of Nexus - don't know which you're using, but none of the 4 show anything that I would cause this problem. Which leaves the animation mod - or a problem with the install of XPMSE, HDT Physics or FNIS (or , of course, a mod conflict of some sort - though off-hand, can't see what it could be, and I have many of the mods that you do, though not all).

In looking at the post page for World Maps, the second stickied post (by Chesko) makes references to .ini setting that are automatically run, and that there is a short script that activates them. I wonder if it is possible that this is not running properly and therefore the appropriate settings are not taking effect, which could explain the problem with the map. You might want to take a look at that post:

PS after deleting the Quality world map mods it should revert back to the vanilla map but the problem still persists.

Try Validating master files by Ilja - http://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/535150948617437868/

Once that problem is fixed, try using A Quality World Map 8.4 - Classic instead

Validated Game files and recleaned with TES5edit. Deleted Quality World Map and used 8.4 instead. Problem still there. Map was working fine until I installed the mods I mentioned before. I guess I will have to do a complete reinstall of all my mods.

That really sucks! Can't imagine why you should be having this issue with those mods. Did you try going back to an older save from before you installed those mods?

I have actualy started a new game several times after doing everything I have mentioned doing to see if the problem is still there. It is!

Very strange. The only thing I can think of is that an .ini file got changed somewhere, but removing Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini and validating as per Ilja's guide should have fixed any problems in that department.

I did not delete my .ini and prefs.ini and validate. I just fully deleted mine and copy pasted my backups. That did nothing and hence why I validated, which also did nothing. I admit it is a strange bug. Please keep us posted of your progress if any. Could an orphan enb preset file be the culprit?

Must be some leftover file someplace - orphan ENB file would seem like a good thing to check for.

I found the problem!!!! I deleted my Bash Patch an rechecked the mods that it patched together and now it works properly. Just to make sure I applied Wrye Bash again and started another game and it went whacky again. Removed the patch and it works. Go figure!

I never have more than a hundred mods anyways so no patch is no problem.

That is how I got into this mess. Fresh install = looking for new mods = looking for a better preset. lol Considering I can't even remember what level I was when I stop playing a vanilla won't hurt to bad now.

Corrected the issue with RW2 and created a new bash patch. Same problem. Deleted patch and the map works again.
