Lower a skill level?

I was justing testing commands and my one handed was at 88 and then i did something and now its at 288. can I get it back down to 88?

The best option would be to revert to a save from before you used those commands. The console is meant as a developer's debugging tool, and should not be messed with if you don't know what you're doing.

If you are certain you want to continue on this save (which may well be broken more down the line), then use this command:

player.modav onehanded -200

This will change your skill level by the number, in this case negative 200.

with the tilde button on type setlevel onehanded 88. that will easily solve your problem.
