Im stuck walking REALLY SLOW
My main wood elf character is moving super slow all of a sudden. This is only for this character. I have tried hitting caps lock but that only slows me even more. Any ideas? if needed i will post a link to a video that showcases this. Also i am under weight cap.

Try interacting with an object, even sitting down in a chair will do, this should cause you to move normally.

Have you been in combat against mages around the time this started? The ice-based offensive spells really slow you down.

try sprinting, you might be locked in perma sneak mode. try to reload, if that doesnt work, reload to a save before this happened

My sprinting is also very slow. And ik that ice mages slow me down but i havent been in combat for a while. Spelles dont last that long right?

I have tried to save and reload many times. I checked my game files and such. This bug also affects how fast i sprint. I can make a video if nessacary to demonstrate

The game might have an incorrectly inverted notion of your Capslock status (i.e. it thinks it's on when it's off, and thinks its off when it's on). Capslock turns on/off slow sneak mode. This is a common problem that crops up in lots of Bethesda games if you alt-tab out of the game, change the capslock in some other application, and then alt-tab back in again. The game didn't "see" that flip of the capslock because it happened when the game was frozen, so now it's gotten itself all backward. If you do the steps again (alt-tab out of the game, hit capslock, then alt-tab back into it) it can sometimes re-flip it so it's correct again.

anyways i found a solution to it. Just gotta enter "player.setav speedmult 135" if anyone still wants to help i suggest you enter "player.setav speedmult 65" since that is 35 under the default speeed. I really thank you for all your help but i guess i just gotta enter that command everytime i play
