Permanent Peace?
Is there a way to make permanent peace without joining either side? I'd rather be a neutral party that both sides can trust.
If needed, I'll even re-play the entire game from the beginning because I REALLY want to find out if it's even possible. Since I already finished the main quests at the start, I know it may be difficult to do so. So... yeah. I also saw this posted on another site as a request for peace that may become a DLC, idk... Is it true?
Here's a site that I found that said there is a peaceful option: http://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/135650/is-there-a-way-to-end-the-war-other-than-joining-the-stormcloaks-or-imperials

The other site requesting a DLC... I think it was on nexus or something. Sorry, kinda forgot where I found it.

Yeah.. I was hoping there could actually be an option to further negotiate a new peace treaty after or during Season Unending. Oh well... sigh.

no, isnt written that way but you can play through without joining a faction. you could save your game then join factions saving each seperately then see which story line you like. i did this in another game i have. keeps it fresh, like having another game to lose time in.

If nobody is alive, then they can't fight so... in theory it'll be everlasting peace? Mass genocide for the greater good!

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
