sometimes my arrows go inside enemy but deal no damage what causes this.it happens almost every game i own. not only skyrim but fallout new vegas, cs go,battlefield.
Skyrim has a max mesh load distance, where arrows go through, without making any damage. It might be set way too close in your configuration files for Skyrim and FO NV.
Following tweak might help. Note that only ACTOR section is relevant here. COMBAT is optional. If you add those values as well, then your arrows will fly through the crosshair and not above it.
Values are added to your Skyrim.ini file. This file is located in:
C:\Users\<AccountName>\Documents\My Games\Skyrim.
There should be similar setting for Fallout NV, but it has been a very long time since I last fiddled with that game.
I spend a lot of time writing RL stuff and Steam is almost always open. The more people I have there the more distractions they are going to make.
Reaching me is quite easy though. I have a pinned topic in Skyrim forum and also another one in Skyrim Special Edition forum.
There are other people around these forums as well. We have quite good crew of regulars and they are all focused in various things. They can give better replies to different things than I could. Thus, help requests usually do not get ignored. People just come and go different times of the day. I am just checking some to wake up and others getting home from work through my Steam friends list and Discord. :)
