Skyrim nexus 2K HD mod not working. (FIXED)
So ive recently downloaded Skyrim a couple days ago and decided to mod it trough the nexus. I tried to download the "Skyrim HD 2K" but every time i launch the game, the textures just seem to be normal. Ive tried to reinstall it with no luck. Ive even reinstalled nexus but it didn't seem to do anything. I have changed bunch of stuff in the skyrim.ini document but the textures just remain the same. I also noticed that this mod doesn't show up in the plugins tab either.

I have searched all over the internet for a fix, but it just seems like nobody ever found a fix for this. Anyone who might know a solution?

Edit: Solution below! If anyone still have problems im willing to help.

UPDATE: The mod works now!

I reinstalled the game and nexus mod manager completly (Deleting all files, even saves) After that i did what Crazeygirl did. First i started skyrim vanilla and played the intro. Then i downloaded nexus and started it with no mods. I played trough the intro again. After that i downloaded and enabled the mod. And tada, it worked. I have no idea why it didn't work before but reseting everything seemed to do the trick!
