IF you are on an AMD card, try temporarily disabling AA and see if the issue resolves. This usually fixes the "tiny grey squares" issue but give it a go. It may just be a driver issue.

When you have problems with missing models, video artifacts or its advisable to verify your steam cache to indentify and replace corrupted files. Right click on the game and select properties. On the new window, click on local files tab. Click 'verify integrity of the game cache' and wait for it to load.
