How does Armor and leveling work?
So, at around lvl 27, I made my first Daedric armor set, and got it to Legendary. What I was wondering is, if your level is higher, will the armor stats be higher too? Say, if I made another Legendary Daedric set, would it be more powerful because I am at level 37 now, or would it be static and not change? Thank you for any replies.

Armor rating is based on your skill with the respective armor types, not character level. If you increase your smithing skill through alchemy and enchantments, you can improve the armor more.

So that means since I already have 100 Smithing, there's no way I can increase my armor? But since you mentioned using potions and enchantments, could I increase my armor stats by using one of those or wearing a piece of armor that increases smithing WHILE I craft it?

When you craft armor, the rating is not affected by your smithing skill. It will be the same as finding or buying a piece of the same type. Equipment and potions can increase your smithing skill beyond 100, allowing you temper it more, though it will still be listed as "Legendary."

There's also potions and enchantments that can increase your armor skill directly. Potions and enchantments of "the Knight" increase Heavy Armor skill. Potions of "the skirmisher" and enchantments of "the Squire" increase Light Armor skill.

Okay, thank you for helping me.

Also keep in mind that there is a maximum level for Armour. Once you reach that point you will no longer gain any benefit from further improvements. This page will describe it in more detail:
