Trolls not taking any damage

Hey folks,does anybody have issues with trolls that can,t be killed.I have tried arrow after arrow,fire and have Lydia with me but the frost trolls health bar doesn't change at all.I have about 45 mods including duel combat,combat evolved and piercing arrows.I am at level 16.

Hmm... Trolls have a natural regen effect, so maybe you're not dealing enough damage to offset the high regen they have. If you have a fire enchanted weapon then that's actually a great way to deal damage to them because they have a weakness to fire and the fire actually hinders the regen of thiers while they are burning.

Another thing you can try to do is lots of poison (actually just did that at lvl 1 last night, with a poisoned bow shooting at a troll with steel arrows until it died), sure it was tedious, but those spiders have poison and why not use it?

If those were nto it... then you might have some other weird issue... Maybe the trolls are channeling some deadric powers and your game has immortal trolls who's going to troll you.

Thanks for the reply.I ended up coming back with Lydia on horseback and was amazed at how easily trolls are dispatched when mounted.I am now playing special edition and haven't run in to one yet.
