Dragonborn doesn't qualify for Sovngarde?
If you play as a Nord, then join the Empire, you swear an oath upon you honor to serve Titus Mede II. But if you then join the Darkbrotherhood, you kill the emperor. Wouldn't this disqualify the Dragonborn from entering Sovngarde?

I realize every god, deadra, a handful of people and a bunny or two has a claim on the Dragonborn's soul, but for this question let's assume that Sovngarde is where the Dragonborn was intended to go when he dies.

Also, assume that he was honorable in the first place and didn't steal every potion of minor healing he ever saw.

There was actually something in the lore about that that I couldn't remember. Basically allowing the Dragonborn to choose. I hoenstly can't remember i'd need to read it again.

Bottom line, the Dragonborn chooses.

Also, it never says specifically anywhere that the Dragonborn would even want to go to Sovngarde. This is down to the player.
Not all Nords want to go there either. There's other nordic god realms to go to for different gods.
Sovngarde is based off Valhalla, but there's many more. Not all Nords want to fight. Skyrim is just a sterotype.

Yes, it is all up to the player. He might not even join the Dark Brotherhood, or the Empire. But in this specific example, if he's a Nord and want to go to Sovngarde, I don't think he'd be able to.

Well it is a dishonourable act, and if you choose to do it, then yes you would be disqualified from entering sovngard when you die.

I mean, I think joining a cult devoted to Sithis is probably a bigger disqualification...

start by joining the thieves guild, then the dark brotherhood, after killing medus your player feels like ♥♥♥♥, and you start doing the good things; like joining the empire to restore skyrim peace, etc, its all about roleplaying; if you did join the empire then kill the emperor the yes, its a big disqualification, since you are a douche bag.

Is there a Nord Hell?

Dragonborn goes wherever his AE is most aligned, like everyone else.

Shor is Lorkhan who is the soul of Sithis.

Dragonborn is a being with the body of a mortal and the soul of a dragon. They don't have a mortal soul, so whatever heaven/hell exists for mortal races does not apply for the Dragonborn.

Come to think of it, if they have the soul of a dragon, wouldn't the same rules apply to them as they do for the dragon? Could Alduin use his Slen Tiid Vo shout to resurrect the Dragonborn? Can the Dragonborn truly be killed, or is it only their mortal body perishing and their immortal soul persisting?

Good point, I think that's where the idea of all Dragonborns being one person comes from.

I think the real question though is, can the resurrect shout ressurect a mortal body? Yes he's a dragon in soul, but shouts have specific meanings.

The reason I ask this is because the alternative is that the Dragonborn ressurects as a dragon.

The way I see it, Dragons have a mortal body as well. The Ancient Nords were able to "kill" dragons by destroying their bodies, but the souls persisted, waiting for Alduin to resurrect them

Dragonborn absorbs dragon soul so Alduin can't rez them. They are DEAD forever.
