Drop things one at a time
I am using Sky UI, and I had about 600 iron daggers, because I was trying to get my smithing up. But when I went to drop them in the river, it made me drop them one at a time. It's completely infuriating.

Sounds like a load order issue, did you run LOOT?

LOOT = Load Order Optimization Tool very important tool to use with mods.

Load order and resource priority basics

Do you know that to level smithing up. The more expensive an item you make the more smithing skill rises. Well that is if you have the unofficial patches.
Sounds like your game may need a make over.

Actually, the Smithing+ = Value+ was in the (last) Official Patch I believe...

Daggers is a pretty inefficient way to do it. You get way more exp per iron if you convert it to gold with transmute and make rings.

... why are you trying to drop them in a river? They won't despawn that way, and will continue to clog up your save file. Either dump them into a respawning container, or sell them.

Isn't there a setting in SkyUI to set when items become groups? Like I say mine is 9, more than 9 I get the option to select how many, less than 9 I have to do it 1 by 1. I'm not at home so I can't check, but look through the settings in SkyUI. It might help

Yes - the default setting is 6, but you can adjust to whatever value you like.

And even at low value, selling 600 daggers will still level speech, so don't drop them in the river!

Sell them even if you get one gold for them, you will gain speech from it.
It will take some time.

Assuming they don't all have unique enchants or tempering qualities, it should be possible to sell them as a stack. Doing so only nets you the same XP as selling one of the items, but the time saved is better invested elsewhere.

Way better then put 600 more objects in cell :steamfacepalm:
We do know what will happen then the next time we come to the cell.
