are activation codes reusable?

my firend let me borrow his copy of sskyrim (disked) and when i puit the disk in it siad it required an activation code, i have the code in the case but i wondering if it was reusable, like if someone else wanted to install it, they could also use the code.

Not really, it's called "borrowing a game from a friend", a term that has been long since forgotten thanks to Steam and other one-time-only DRMs
