Faralda at the College of Winterhold is Missing

I'm trying to start the College of Winterhold quest, but Faralda is not at the bridge so I can take the test. I have the Immersive College of Winterhold mod, but I'm not sure if it's causing this glitch or not. What should I do?

By using the player.placeatme you created a copy of the NPC - which wil not have the appropriate dialogue and therefore of course you will not be able to advance the quest. This is one of the console commands that should never be used with a named NPC.

You should go back to the save you made before using that command and try the command referenced above instead (but only if you cannot advance the quest any other way).

It says it's missing the object reference ID, even though I'm sure I'm putting it in. When I put in prid <0001c197>, it says it's missing the object reference ID, but when I put it in like prid 0001c197, it says it's an imvalid object reference for object reference ID. I also tried disabling the mod, and that didn't work.

Except he's wrong and it works just fine. When Dawnguard came out I had to spawn Serana in the room with her coffin.



Allow me to clarify.....There's nothing wrong with using the aforementioned method, nor is there anything wrong with moveto.......However, if the NPC in question is not showing up in the game world ( as the OP mentioned ) spawning it in will do nothing wrong.

Then you need to tell why he have wrong.

I also have ICW mod and she appeared on the bridge as expected. Perhaps it is not that mod but some other conflict.

I have the IC mod and have had no issues with her being in her spot.

If none of the above suggestions work, can you find her inside the college and start the dialogue there?

in case someone have again the same problem (like i just had this last hour), sleeping 24h in the inn before going (after 8:00 AM) to bridge and wait a little will see Faralda coming.
