How to kill deathclaws

I keep finding deathclaws and they are mauling me can i get some help

Theres a problem though. There arent any rifles only these sticks with strings

That's an old school rifle, it should work just the same.

Play the Fallout games, you should have better luck in those.

Bash them in the face. Attack. Repeat until stamina runs out, drink stamina potions, repeat entire process.

Press the ~ key (Left of 1, if you have a different keyboard)
Press on Deathclaw
Type in: kill
Press the ~ key again

Deathclaw is dead.
