Skyrim New game Glitch, npc's have no body, just hands, feet, and a head

I don't have any mods that would do this to my game, I just started modding again since yesterday. I had to start a new game, because some mods weren't working. I noticed that the npc's at the beginning of the game, have no bodies, just hands, feet, and a head. I know what you're thinking, do you have any mods conflicting, and the answer to that is, no. I look carefully at what I get for mods. I'm using NMM, btw.

I wouldn't waste time reinstalling. I would disable all mods and enable them 1by1 it is clearly a mod. If disabling all mods still leaves it verify game cache

I've had issues to where even disabling mods and enabling one by one didn't work. I've had some bad issues.

yea I didn't know that just reinstall. I would start by installing only non body mods. Then install body mods. Use mod organizer and everytime you install over like 3 mods use their sort tool to keep stuff in priority boot

Do not use the sorting tool. It is badly out of date and can mess up the order entirely. Same goes with inbult pluging sorting tool.

In MO:
- Standalone LOOT for load order
- Manual sorting of left panel.

I do have XPMSE, Maximum Skeleton Extended. What would the requirements for that be, because I've checked all of my other mods to see if they had anything to do with body invisibility, and they don't.

I figured it out! It WAS a mod. It was requiem.

How did Requiem do that? It didn't even pop in to my mind.

Idk. All I know is that it changes how the game playes. It works like an mmo, it lowers areas difficulty to your level so that you can have a fair fight.

I know how Requiem works, but I have no idea how it could have caused this issue. I need to bury my head to it.

I do have another issue. At the beginning of the game, when you either choose the Imperials or the Stormcloaks, Ralof tells me to get gear off of his dead friend, but when I do, the quest doesn't complete and I'm stuck in the room, and ralof just keeps telling me to loot his dead friend. Any Ideas on how to fix this?

Might be a load order issue. You seem to have more than few issues though, so it might be first best to make sure that your official files are not damaged.

Figured out the issue! It was because I have a mod on call "QuickLoot", and I was looting the dead body with the mod, I had to actually search the body in order to complete the quest.
