most of the housecarls are good fighters. go do the quests in Falkreath and get that housecarl or the one in dawnstar.
crazygirl: please stop telling people to use the console codes, especially if it will feck their game!!
Edit: You can have a housecarl from each of the cities.
As for followers a bad ass follower is Marcurio in riften in the Bee and Bard. He uses magic and is pretty darn awesome. He is by far my favorite marriage partner and travling buddy. The guy has good skill.
Another is Sven in Riverwood. That wannabe Bard will crush everything in sight just like Camillas heart.
Jenassa is Whiterun at the Drunken Huntsmen is pretty awesome.
Good luck on your followers hunt and try not to kill em too much ;)
By the way I was just kidding about Sven!
where do i get a enchantment that gives health? i have a 10 to 20 % health regeneration. and both types of magic.... pionts and regen.
if you take advantage of the sneak backstab at the dragon voice wizards castle. in a fast 10 minets i leveled up aroun 5 levels. should i have taken time off between them? like going back to some other skill trainers. and paid for 5 skills between each fast sneak ups?
I guess i'm thinking about doing a full start over and do 50/50 magic/health as i level up.
God I'm so sick of hearing this "Don't revive a dead NPC it'll break a bunch of scripts" "Don't move an NPC it might break the game" "Don't enable/disable the actor or it might break them".
Stop.
While resurrecting a dead NPC may not break your game, doing so to some of them will. Many characters have a death script attached to them, and if that is triggered and you try to bring them back to life, you will break your game. In the case of Lydia, I suspect it will. At the very least, she will most likely stop responding to her follower commands. It's best to avoid using that function just in case.
Not all of them will though. For example, if Belethor in Whiterun is killed it's scripted that Ysolda will take over his shop. If you try to resurrect Belethor, he will no longer be able to make trades as the game considers him dead. He won't even be able to enter his own shop as it is then the property of Ysolda. There are numerous examples like that, and if you aren't absolutely sure that there will be no complications it's best to avoid bringing a character back from the dead.
