No. Special Edition is 64bit version of the game. It does not add multiplayer features.

If you want to play online with your friends, get Elder Scrolls Online. If you want more of a single-player experience, but with more flexibility to play the way you want, get Skyrim. Skyrim Special Edition is 64-bit with improved graphical fidelity and stability, but has higher system requirements than Skyrim Original.

but I was asking about this
'
http://store.steampowered.com/app/306130/

which one is better?

There is Skyrim and Skyrim Legendary Edition (Skyrim plus 3 dlc), a single-player game with a 32-bit engine.

There is Skyrim Special Edition, which is a single-player game the same as Skyrim Legendary Edition except that it has a 64-bit engine.

There is Elder Scrolls Online which is a MMO.

You can play 64bit with 64bit Windows. My main game is still with 32bit Skyrim. I will be moving to SSE, once SKSE64 is out, but you do not have to.

64bit version has superior memory management. However, "which one is better" depend a lot of your system.

You are basically comparing two completly different games.

-TESO is a MMO, like WoW if you really want to compare. Full multiplayer experience.

-TES:Skyrim is a solo RPG game, which you can mod (and oh boy you will).

-TES:Skyrim special edition is the remake of Skyrim they recently made, just like Skyrim, with bad mod support, but better graphisms, and mostly a better engine. Keep in mind that the original Skyrim looks better than the special one with the right mods, and an ENB.

oh so special edition breaks mods? I was about to ask that next, if it broke things.

is TESO a first person/3rd person game or is it forced to 3rd only? Guess Ill try out skyrim for now, but the other one online looks nice, is there a story quest?

What he meant was that most modsout now are simpler mods, the rest are waiting for new versions of SKSE, and other mods that reply on it. Some mods for 32bit that have come out without the extra mods are broken because of it.

If you are going to get the MMO I would get the Gold Edition when it is on sale 50% or so off, unless you plan on subscribing. Then you "own" most of the content (including some good Epansions) and can play whenever.

Yes, there's a story quest in Skyrim. A main quest and hundreds of side quests, along with radiant quests to pick up as you explore. As far as I'm aware, TESO gives you the option of 3rd person or 1st person, but the general consensus is that 1st person sucks, and 3rd person is easier to play.
