Sharing my rather insane mod list and screenshots

I know there would be 323,562,809 other people who already posted their mod lists before me.

But I can't help but feeling it to be quite an achievement to have made my Skyrim working - well, more or less at least - with 300ish mods (especially with Requiem), I'll share my settings for reference.

(It seems the post is too long to be allowed. So I'll leave my load order in the reply section.)

Note that the mods are listed in reverse order, and those with 'Output' in their names are ones that are generated by external tools, like FNIS generator or Requiem patch program.

I removed some of the mods with adult content but intentionally left a few, in case I thought they could enhance the immersion without breaking the lore too much.

And I won't recommend try anything like that without using Mod Organizer. If you suffer FPS drop, you might want to disable some of the 4k texture mods, or BeeingFemale which is quite script heavy.

I've been playing with this setup for quite a while, and I haven't had any major game breaking problem with it yet.

There's some minor glitchies though. For instance, you might see malformed texture on male characters' feet for which I'm trying to find a fix myself.

I always used Seasons of Skyrim ENB last 3 years but 2 days ago i installed RudyENB with NLA and man now it looks so good.

I have also seen Vividian ENB looks also very nice.

Though personally, I have quite specific preferences which prevent me from doing something similar myself.

It's not that I find anything wrong with your screenshot, but I just prefers more 'natural' looking ENBs to those look more cinematic and highly saturated ones.

The same goes for the outifts : I'm not really a fan of skimpy looking armors because I can't retain my immersion with them, especially with such mods like Frostfall, and etc.

But again, I truly find your character and screenshot to be quite beautiful :)

Thanks! It's i5@3.20GHz / 16g RAM / GTX 970. And as to the performance, honestly it's not optimal as I barely get 30fps with occasional stutterings.

It becomes more playable if I disable a few 4k texture mods, like Vividian 4k patch. But as I'm such a person who values pretty screenshots over playability, I usually leave them enabled ;)

I'm no expert at mod lists ... but I see that your "Live Another Life" esp is high up in your mod list ... it's usually recommended that it be very near the bottom ... with only related patches, Bashed Patch and Dyndolod below it.

You might also want to research the making of WyreBash Bashed Patch for your game ... I can't see it it your list ... and it would help to include all your assets in-game.

There is also a HighRes patch missing.

Have you used LOOT or is this "handmade"?

I believe you are right about LAL, as it's just my negligence that made it at that position - actually, it's one of the earliest mods I installed, because I needed to do a clean start often while I was testing various mods and tweaking settings.

But once I was relatively happy with it, I just started playing the game and forgot about the mod.

As to the Bashed Patch, I have to confess that I was quite ignorant of it as I've never used it before. I'm not sure if there's any overwritten items I'd rather keep in parallel, but probably there's more benefit of using it, so I'll try to learn it as you suggested.

P.S.: I don't think it's missing a high res patch, by the way. I use highres optimized texture packs plus Noble 2k textures. Probably you have missed the latter because it's positioned at an unusual position in the list.

I use LOOT from time to time but I always have to rearrange many of the esps by hand after that.

Briefly ... a bashed patch will include all the assets and make an esp for them ... you just load it at the bottom of your load order after you've run the bashed patch.
Get WB 306 if you plan to use it ... WB307 is a little buggy as they're trying to get it to work with SSE ... but it is worth it.
It can free up a few esp slots as the esps are included in the Bash.

I'm sure a few others will pop in to advise you ....

I noticed your High Res are unmanaged ... you must have them selected from Steam ... you need to uncheck them ... or so I've been told.

Also, regarding Immersive Armors, Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp should load before Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp

It's not a replacer. It's necessary because IA has more assets than will fit into 1 .bsa file.
Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp activates more than half of the textures in IA and should be loaded before Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp.

(Eckss is co-developer of Immersive Armors (hence the ECTSStra), so as to placement of IA components in relation to each other, Eckss' statement overrules LOOT - or anyone else, for that matter.)

Your Prio order is wrong in many places.
And use WB306.

Several of you adult mods are at wrong places. In load and prio list.
You actually kills of what the mods add.

That cant work as it should.
