Disarm. Why?
In a game series so well known for it's totally realistic physics and the potential to fall through floors at any given point, why do enemies STILL have the ability to disarm you?
I just lost Dawnbreaker to some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Draugr, it went through the floor.
Now I gotta go back like an hour because I turned autosaving off because this game is properly made and totally stable even in vanilla state and it was crashing whenever it saved on its own.
Thanks.

Ok. Thanks for input.
But why should not some of the Dragours have that shout?
Rolling back one hour is nothing.

If the game was working properly and ♥♥♥♥ didn't just permanently go missing when it got shouted off your hands then I'd be fine with it. I don't mind looking around for my damn sword.
The problem comes in when this unstable garbage pile suddenly decides nothing is solid enough to contain the Daedric artifact I just killed some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to obtain, or that I should hop down a hill I climbed up just a minute ago to get my damn sword from a crevice I literally cannot get out of without TCL.
To top it off, they don't seem to have a cooldown on their shouts, if the AI feels like it they'll constantly shout ♥♥♥♥ at you.

They have cool down. But they only have the first word so they can use it again at the same speed as you can.

If your game is that unstable I suggest you check if you have installed your "mods" properly and dont have other issues in your game.

I don't have any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mods. That's the whole point.
My sword floated down a stream and out of the map this time.
If nothing else Bethesda is consistent.

Consistently nonsensical and bad.
Oblivion was far worse at least.
Every new game they take out a good feature and add 3 bad ones.

Oh well~

Ok. If you say so.
Then you have issues. Some of them are fixed in The Unoffical Patches.
If you have all DLC:s you should use Usleep.

Instead of ranting you should simply ask if there are one fix for that issue.

There is no fix, Usleep doesn't fix bad game design only unintended bugs.
Disarm is intended to be annoying and Bethesda is too stupid to make it work right.
That's all :L

Ooh, all that delicious salt.
That said, I don't ever have this issue. It's not bad game design if a BUG is uninteded by the developers. Your weapons dissapearing into the void is a bug, as are them going out of map boundaries via water.
GrimCat Mar 6, 2017 @ 5:41am
Are you mad because you were disarmed or mad because the weapon fell through the floor? USLEEP does help with the floor problem.
Get the Get Spellbreaker shield and shouts are no longer a problem.

Maybe I'm just unlucky. Even with USLEEP it happens a bunch.
Also that bug where Karliah actively refuses to progress the Nightingale ceremony.
That one's happened to me 100% of the time since I started playing, at least now I'm on PC and I can force it ahead.

I'm workin' on that for the sake of collection, I don't like shields though, I usually dual wield daggers and stuff. Or have a sword on one hand and a dagger on the other for sneak attacks.

Oh yeah, that was one of them huh? Lol.

What FPS do you run your game in? Skyrim dont work if you have more then 60, stuff like that starts to happen then.

Have you used any mod before in your save? Removed it and continue?

I run it at 60fps, I didn't know you could go above but that's always a problem with physics engines so I never do it.

This is a fully vanilla run, this save is totally clean of anything but the official DLC.

33 - Not know you can go above 60 fps (useful to see the max fps you can get with your rig, or just useful if you decide to get rid of VSYNC without seeing strange stuff)
