Vampires keep attacking me, reason?
I know I said to the dawnguard I'd investigate something, but I only started the quest that leads to finding the vampire woman in a stone cell. After that, I took her home, over killing her. I've just had to reload four times because after accepting the gift of the vampire lord, I still get attacked on sight by various people, including the Lord and the quest-related NPCs, as well. After one shoots, they all shoot of course. Do I need to reload to prior finding the dawnguard and then redo the dungeon I find the vampire girl in?

If it matters, lvl 26 kajit female in full nightingale armor. Doubt armors cause anything more than idle comments (Thinking of thief armor and guards for that), so I really can't picture why I keep geetting attacked. Is there like a console command to totally cut ties with the dawnguard in case I accidentally made some?

When you start Dawnguard you start Vampires.
Happy gaming.

How can I complete the quest when I'm inside the vampire castle and already a vampire, though? Is it just easier to track down Serena from a save prior to even entering the dawnguards' zone?

It sounds like you are bugged. If you become a vampire from accepting Harkons gift, they should not attack you. The Dawnguard will, but not Volkihar vampires.

You could try reloading an older save to see if that will fix it.

I am guessing that you do not have the Unofficial patch(es). If you do not, I suggest getting it(them).

Vampire attacks are considered a separate encounter event, regardless of your relationship with one or more of the factions. If the attacks are occuring because you're returning to Volkihar after refusing "the gift", it's due to the fact that Harkon only gave you that one chance to leave alive.

Otherwise, you've sided with the Dawnguard or accidently attacked one of the vampires, and are now considered an enemy. Reload one of the prior saves if it's bugged.

Draconic_Kid Docsprock is right, there are 2 types of Vampires the normal and the Dawnguards the Dawnguards Vampires wont attack you but the normal ones still will they are Wild Vampires after all.

I'm within the keep still, would that not be the Dawnguard expac's vampire faction?

Regardless, I reloaded to a slightly older save I made when I first hit the island and did a 72 hour wait to force vanila vampirisim. I'm hoping for that to possibly change things. If not, I'll reverify that I have the unofficial patches, but I'm certain I downloaded them when I completed my game's DLC bundle...

Does the fact I killed every vampire in the dungeon I met Serena in mean I probably ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up? I just thought of that...

No, what you are experiencing is a known glitch in the game. Try checking the UESP Wiki for the quest and related bugs. maybe there is a fix there.

Edit: - From the Wiki: After your vampire induction, the other vampires in the castle will treat you as a mortal. This seems to happen because exiting the Vampire Lord form reverts the race of the player to what he was before being transformed, and you cannot revert back without using Revert Form. Changing in to a Vampire Lord for the first time, do not stand too close to Harkon, as the transformation causes damage to everyone nearby, which may make castle vampires hostile.

I retried this time without reverting right away, and never had any reaction from Harkon any of the times. This time I got some snobbish remarks about how "yes sister, you look fantastic - do you mind?" After that, I deformed without issue. Not sure what was different, as i had unofficial patch (all three DLC version), and my data was in order.

I have this issue now, after getting Harkon's offering, and doing the tutorial right, once I leave, Imediately get attacked by every vampire in the castle, I didn't do a thing! I am unsure why or how this happened, but I have the unofficial patches.

I lived that time by just running straight to the quest giver and staying out of sight. When I initiated the dialogue between myself and the npc, everyone stopped trying to stab me - assuming i wasn't spotted on the way out. It made playing a theif fairly rewarding.

I think standing further away when transforming is the main fix for this, but here are all the steps that solved it for me (nobody turned hostile at any point this way):

1. Sent my follower (Lydia) away before getting on the boat to the castle... though I don't think this has anything to do with it.
2. Removed all equipped weapons and arrows/bolts
3. Selected the shortest conversation routes (no questions or any detours)... also don't think this did anything
4. When Harkon told me to change into the Vampire Lord form, I went as far away from him and the "cattle" in the room as I could, and transformed there. (I think this is what solved it.)
5. I stayed in the room when Harkon left, transformed back to normal form, fed from the "cattle", went into a corner again, and enabled sneak mode until I entered an undetected status.
6. Left the room (no longer in sneak mode) and everything worked fine

Further info:
If I transformed right next to him, he himself turned hostile... though he didn't attack me, but went on with his speech. If I did this a bit further away, he didn't turn hostile, only the others did.
If I did it by this latter method and remained in Vampire Lord form as I left the room, only the person who was supposed to give me the next quest and the hounds turned hostile.
