Blindsighted glitch - Mercer Frey wont spawn FIX!

STEP 1:

When you have entered the door, wait for mercer to say his line, then open up the console and type in:
setstage tg08b 40, then do step 2, after step 2 you wanna type in: setstage tg08b 60, then go to step 3.

STEP 2:

now you have set it to the stage where you are supossed to kill him, but he still wont spawn, this has a simple fix, open the console and type in:

(first command:)
prid 00022651

(second command:)
moveto player

STEP 3:

Now that u have done that, u will need to get out, (teleporting to a random npc) command:

player.moveto (npc code) example: 0001234 (google different npc codes)

Thanks for the tip, I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate how after all this time skyrim still barely works and if try downloading mods from the nexus that supposedly fix these bugs you just often end up with more problems.

As for me, the correct fix is

prid 00022651
disable
enable
resurrect 1 // optional for cases when he is dead for some reason
moveto player
setstage TG08B 40

Stab him, then tcl > out
