It'll probably just be rated m. Just because it's Nintendo doesn't mean they'll completely change the game.

Nintendo 64 had Conker's Bad Fur Day, one of the most violent/sexual/vulgar mainstream games there is.

That'd be pretty sad if there's a Nintendo only version of the game where you can't kill (they're only knocked out!), steal (You just borrowed this item, but you'll return it later... right?), emmm... I guess it won't even get the assassin guild, might as well write out the dawnguard expnasion becuase vampires are too scary...

Yes, if there was such a version, it'll be the Mortal Kombat issue all over again. Nobody would bother buying Skyrim for a Nintendo system because some of the key elements was removed or changed. It'll be a silly move if Nintendo did that and just helps make their competitors' job easier when everyone flocks over there instead.

WiiU had Bayonetta and Bayonetta2, Skyrim is pretty tame compared to that.

So I doubt they'll tame it down for Nintendo Switch.

On A related note, I think the Switch name is bad, not as bad as WiiU though (I was ok with the name Wii and Gamecube)

My Wii is still sitting in the closet, neglected after all these years. I think I only used it to play old games from NES, SNES and other old systems and Twlight Princess (I hate the Wii version's controls except when its time to use the bow, also... why is Link right handed?!?)

Everytime I look at the Wii... I get the urge to go use the bathroom....

The leaked name sounded better, the NX I think.

Yeah I could imagine people talking about the Nintendo NX.

Ever heard of a game for the Wii called Mad World?

Nintendo hasn't censored blood out of their games since the SNES days.

Get with the times.

Nintendo still brings up association of its "child friendly" image for most who grew up back in the NES days so its not an image they're losing anytime soon. They may let third parties do blood and gore a bit more freely now, but it might just be due to how bad they lost sales against SEGA with Mortal Kombat back then.

Then again, the majority of the games they make is still "Family Friendly" so that's not helping to change thier image anytime soon.

I have no problem with family friendly, some of those family friendly games are great fun.
Not to say family unfriendly games can't be fun too.

True enough Alex, but just because Nintendo did have a few uncensored mature games, doesn't dispense the general overall image that Nintendo products are not family friendly. I believe that's why OP had such a concern when he/she created this topic.
