Lydia, Glitch or Racism???
The Jarl made me a thane. Gave me something that never showed up in my inventory (assume it was the Axe of Whiterun, but who knows?)
Told me Lydia was my new Housecarl....except Lydia wasn't waiting at the door on the way out and I've never found her. Glitch? if so...fix?

Try buying Breezehome and entering it. Lydia should spawn then.

Tried that but it didn't work. It's ok. Very frustrated ATM with my perk choices so may start over. Not that far into it.

Glitch. Unless your using some kind of Racism mod....

If you have only few hours I suggest you restart the game.

You should also verify your files first and add Usleep if you have all DLC:s
