I think I might've seen that mod long ago, but wasn't it something like, you could buy more oil from vendors like Belethor? I'll go check!

Found a link for your question!

Lantern Oil can be purchased from any general goods merchant relatively inexpensively. You will replenish your lantern’s oil automatically when it runs out. One bottle of lantern oil will fill up your lantern.

I used to use the wearable lantern mod, its great, but ever since I started using Jaxonz's mods, there's one that adds toggleable candle / magelight spells... I used that more often and recently.. I started using the Gandalf Lightstaff for my torch. Its just the white staff from the movies, but the light radius is quite large, plus... magic for a Breton is second nature.

I only stopped using the lantern mod when some armor keeps using the same slot it uses, so... I ended up using spells for lighting. Its a really good mod though, I love using the torchbug jar since it works even underwater.
